Grant Campbell of Kelowna, B.C., Canada

Achieved a hole-in-ones on 2006-08-29 @ THE PINNACLE GOLF COURSE AT GALLAGHER'S CANYON located in Kelowna, BC, Canada

Hole: 7 | Length: 124 | Club Used: pitching wedge

During our bi-weekly LOEG Golf League night, the pin was located in the center of the green. Tee box is approx. 75' above the green so it was a pitching wedge down to the green where the ball landed about 2' and slightly left of the pin. For whatever reason after landing the ball rolled forward and right.....and into the hole. Club was a Callaway X-16 Piching Wedge. Age: 40 years and 5 days!

Golf Package Client Testimonials

Just a belated note to thank you for the wonderful job on booking our golf trip. Everyone had a great time. The hotel was very good to us as far as the meeting room went and we were able to use it both nights. The golf courses were great especially the Dunes which every one agreed they liked better. I am sure you will hear next year from the couples planning that trip. Again thanks and if you ever need to refer a satisfied customer we will all be glad to contribute.

Ross,
Just wanted to thank you for putting the golf trip together. We just returned last night and all 4 of us had great time.

Predator Ridge was the hi-lite as the golf and the accommodations were 1st class. We already discussed coming back next year when the Ridge course opens.

I strongly recommend paying the extra $$ and staying at Predator Resort. The golf course was perfect for a low handicapper as well as high one.The practice facilities, the food, and the staff were as good as I've seen, even the unpredictable weather was only a minor
inconvenience and it gave us an excuse to check out the Fitness Ctr after the round, which was a bonus.

The Rise was an interesting course, with incredible views but I don't think I would play it again as there were too many blind shots and strange holes. The last 4 holes were my favorite, even though I incurred a couple of penalty strokes. I'd only recommend it to low handicappers and short straight hitters. The staff & treatment was excellent.

Kelowna Springs was ok and it was nice to play an easier course on the last day. Thanks again Rick & the guys

What a treat. Look at the score card and you think it is there for the taking....think again! You better be in the fairway, otherwise double can come fast, try the miracle shot, 9 out of 10 times you pay the price. No question the best conditioned private course on the South Shore of Montreal. Tight cut fairways, fast greens. Very similar to Beaconsfield and St-Georges in Toronto. Even though it is a city course, because of its view and proximity to Mt-St-Hilaire, it does not have the feal of a city course. This mature track of over 85 years, with its century old trees, well you can play it every day and not get bored. Although not long it is a very fair test for all level of handicaps. Beloeil is known as a players course and I now know why. I am told that there are over 100 single didget handicap members here, quite impressive. I,m looking forward to my next visit.

I played in the Steak or Beans Event this past May long weekend. BCgolfguide.com organized the group for their trip which included Black Mountain and staying at the Coast Capri - 35 guys in all. They needed another person to create even teams, hence i joined in for a very memorable weekend.

What this group does annually is play their first round (Blk Mnt) in order to create 18 teams of 2, White and Black. For Sunday's game the crew had a lot of fun. Buffett Breakfast served up compliments of Jeff and breakfast crew. T-time at 11:40am - Each 4-some has a white and black team. Stroke play and teams determined from like handicaps from Saturdays game. A hole is either won by a team for 2 points, or halved and each team gets 1 point. After the 9 teams come in, total points are tallyed and for 2010, Black won! Well i was on the white team with a career best score of 75.

Losers ate beans, winners had steak back at the Coast Capri. Did i mention winners dine on fine chinaware, while losers get paper cups, plastic spoons, newspaper table setting and dead flower arrangement. It was a blast.

The group welcomed me into the clan of "Slice Boys". Re: Photo attached - bar setup at the 18th greenside as the groups came in. Hats off to the staff at both Black Mountain (thanks Brice, Eric and Tony) and Sunset Ranch (Bruce, Scott, and Jeff) for serving up terrific food and having exceptionally friendly staff to make the experience most memorable for all. Watch for more photos coming from this group.
